When parents subscribe to Loch +, they will gain access to a new dimension of information and diagnostics concerning their child’s usage of the app. They will gain insight on:
- Who they text the most and at what times they text
- How many hours their child is on the app
- How often Loch AI detects inappropriate content and whether it is triggered by friends or the user themselves
- Their interaction with the feed
- Much more useful metrics
For parents who like to have their finger on the pulse, Loch + enables advanced notifications for parents, where an email, SMS or app notification will be sent to parents upon the detection of inappropriate content by Loch AI.
Parents will be able to choose what types of content raise the alarm, allowing them to adjust the degree of privacy lent to their children. Upon being flagged, parents will be alerted and can promptly choose to delete the message, temporarily block the contact, or remove them permanently.
As we understand that different parents hold different concerns, parents with Loch Plus will be able to choose what our AI censors and detects. Parents will thus be able to choose what types of content they would like to be filtered out whilst also giving them the option to permit certain types of content
For example, parents who are less concerned about swearing may choose to disable Loch AI for profanity but retain the AI’s detection and removal of any sexual content.
